GENERAL SURGERY To Enter Studio In February
November 14, 2006Legendary Swedish grindcore merchants GENERAL SURGERY will enter Offbeat Studio in February 2007 to begin recording their part of the split EP with BUTCHER ABC.
GENERAL SURGERY has been confirmed for the Arnhem Metal Meeting, set to take place Saturday, December 9 at Musis Sacrum in Arnhem, Holland. Also scheduled to appear are ARCH ENEMY, IMMOLATION, MELECHESH, MOONSORROW, NECROPHOBIC and PUNGENT STENCH, among others.
GENERAL SURGERY recently announced the addition of bassist Dr. Van Touminen (FINGERSPITZENGEFÜHL, THE GROKENBERGERS) to the group's ranks. Touminen took over the bass duties from Glenn Sykes, who has decided to move back to the U.S.
GENERAL SURGERY's first full-length album, "Left Hand Pathology", was released in May via Listenable Records.
